It's not too bold or silly that those a little older or self-conscious of wearing tv clothes would not like. My dad loves Grimm but I had never really seen him wear tv/movie shirts. I got it on the off chance he might like it and it turns out he LOVED it. It fit really nicely, fabric was very nice, and it's a nice subtle "I like this show" t-shirt!
